so once upon a time i talked about getting rid of my wedding rings. well, i have found some more possible alternatives. in the end, i’ll probably end up having several rings that i can mix and match. i used to like the idea of having the one set, but now i realize that i will never be that same person for the rest of my life. my rings are beautiful, but what can you do?

him: *looks at milk carton in fridge**scoff* aw! 11/22! baby, we’re out of milk

me: no, there’s a new carton on the door.

him: oh *takes the new carton LEAVES the expired carton*

this seems to be a running theme in our relationship.

lindsay: people are always worried about hurting my feelings. if i did a crappy job, i want you to tell me. don’t be afraid to tell me i’m not good at this.

me: don’t worry. if we had a problem with you it would be about your personality flaws.

*laughs all around*

me: see!  i KNEW i was funny!

lindsay: i never had a doubt

*in a staff meeting*

boss: commencement is at 2 pm on the 14th

me: i’ll be sleeping

boss: you’ll be sleeping at 2 pm?

me: oh wait, is that the 14th?  no, i’ll be saving hyrule from the twilight realm.  they are all counting on me.

all: *blank stares*

me: you know, legend of zelda?

boss: *looks at a coworker* kim, we need to do a research project about people who think video games are reality.

him: some people in tennessee don’t even have water.

he should have added that instead we value sex, money, and prestige. what a waste. all those things do is make people miserable as you always have to work for them and can never just enjoy them.

completely finished the first cuff and it’s really cute. i have 5 others done except for the buttons (need to fit to the wrist of the receiver)
