public service announcement for the motion sick
Posted under Uncategorized by melif you go to see cloverfield take Dramamine! we had to leave after about 30 minutes because i was almost throwing up and istopher had a headache. i understand that they were trying to have realistic camera shots for how people would react if a monster attacked their city, but the majority of the film was just swishy/blurry lines of someone moving the camera to and fro very quickly. there was nothing to focus on and i found myself unable to watch the screen because i was getting dizzy.
and hey, i know i haven’t been posting much. it was the first week back and i’ve started several new projects (like “project get mel’s bum in the gym”). i promise to write and post a plethora of pictures soon. very soon. maybe tomorrow. but don’t hold your breath.

Thanks for the critique. I had planned to see this flick, but do appreciate your opinion. With all the technology out there, why do film directors “Booger” things up for such a movie like this one? Come on now, take the effort, your already there in the moments of things to create a masterpiece! Keep critiquing for those of us who enjoy your prospective:)
I’m actually surprised. I went to see the movie, and didn’t feel sick. And I get motion sick fairly easy. I think I was so focused on thinking the movie was going to suck that I didn’t care about the movement. I had no hopes for this movie, but it proved me wrong. it was decent. But, if it were rated R and had more grusome violence and blood and eating of people it would be amazing. They should come out with a rated R version for dvd. I would love it.
