pasta. that’s about all i remember making. oh, and scrambled pancakes (this is where you don’t make round pancakes but just scramble the batter like you would eggs)
What were you cooking/baking one year ago?
i started my adventures in indian cooking about a year ago. besides that i was making lots of mexican including chimichangas, tacos, fajitas…last summer we also started drinking smoothies a bit. my love affair also began with yogurt.
Five snacks you enjoy:
string cheese, le petit ecolier, plain yogurt with cocoa powder/sugar, melba toast, and orange sherbet
Five recipes you know by heart:
potato leek soup, avocado tacos, greek pizza, home made ravioli, and hummus
Five culinary luxuries you would indulge in if you were a millionaire:
kitchenaid artisan mixer in either pistachio green or reef blue, calphalon knives, calphalon pans, calphalon dutch oven, and some professional cooking lessons
Five foods you love to cook/bake:
indian food of all sorts, chocolate deserts, tea & cakes, smoothies, and rich soups (heavy cream a must)
Five things you cannot/will not eat:
anything with the following ingredients (unless their amounts are obscenely minuscule so as not to be detected*): cloves, cinnamon, mushrooms, meat*, anise
*the one exception is that i will not make anything under any circumstances with meat no matter how small of an amount.
Five favorite culinary toys:
i don’t have many yet, but my hard anodized pans make me happy. also, my tea making accoutrement, ginsu knives, yogurt maker, and air popcorn maker
