hello internet

we got hooked up today!  yeah internet!  our stuff came on sunday and i’ve been unpacking in the hours between work.  oh, i got a job, did i tell you?  yeah, christoph asked what i’d be doing with my time until my internship began in late august to which i had no reply.  “why don’t you get a summer job?” he asked.  “oh!  i could do that couldn’t i?” was my reply.  so i did.   i work at this amazing independent toy store where i actually get paid to play with kids and toys all day.  it’s awesome!  if i had had this job before getting my degree i am not sure that i would have gone back to school.

anyhow, i wanted to mention that we are planning on changing our last name to my maiden name soon.  those of you that know both our last names shouldn’t be scratching your head right now.  it’s simple: i had a very easy to pronounce, spell, and remember name and i changed it to his hard to pronounce (only 3 people have done so on the 1st try so far), spell, and remember name.  heck, most of my family doesn’t even know my last name.  and those that do always pronounce it wrong.
